Private & Corporate WorkshopsPlanning something private? Whether it's a team event, a birthday, a shower, or a get-together with friends near or far, a needle felting class is a genuinely fun way to spend an afternoon together. PetitFelts classes offer a supportive and approachable environment in which to connect and learn a new craft.
Most classes are held virtually over Zoom, with all instruction and materials included. Reach out and we'll coordinate pricing, choose a class, and pick a date together. I will ship materials out to any address within the Contiguous US. In-person workshops are also available for local groups, whether at the studio, or at your own space.
Workshops are best suited for groups of 5-15, with sessions typically running 2 hours. You will have your very own handmade felted piece at the end of the session!

Meet the Instructor
I'm Jocelyn, the owner and designer behind PetitFelts. I graduated from Savannah College of Art and Design in 2005 with a degree in Metals and Jewelry, and it wasn't long after graduating that I fell in love with the process of needle felting and switched out my metal for wool.
I started needle felting 20 years ago, and started PetitFelts and teaching 15 years ago. Outside of making my work, creating a space in which people can feel comfortable learning something new and connecting with others is my biggest passion.
If you're in search of an approachable, guided activity for a work social, or just a good excuse to get people together, I'd love to help make it happen.
Testimonials“We reached out to Jocelyn for a remote needle felting class for a work social. She was so amazing to work with. Not only was she helpful on the planning portion, but she was also extremely fast and diligent about sending out the kits to everyone on the team. During the class, Jocelyn was phenomenal at teaching us how to needle felt. She had great tips and checked in with everyone to make sure we were all on track. Not only were her teaching skills great, but we had a blast with her just talking about anything and everything!”
~ Krista Polikaitis (Corporate Zoom Class)
"In lieu of a traditional baby shower for my sister, we asked Jocelyn to host a needle-felting workshop for the women in our family. None of us had tried it before and, while we otherwise would have felt intimidated, Jocelyn’s sweet demeanor had us up and running in no time. It was the best two hours we could have asked for! We learned a new craft, caught up with each other, and got to know Jocelyn while felting adorable little strawberries. Jocelyn fit right in with our group and felt like family. She made felting feel accessible, and our session with her sparked many ideas for future projects together. Thanks Jocelyn!"

“I've taken three classes with Jocelyn. Each one was an invaluable learning experience. As a teacher, Jocelyn provides clear instruction and insightful guidance, which makes the whole process really fun and interesting. I also appreciate the opportunity to learn about needle felting from a talented artist with such a wealth of knowledge.”

“Jocelyn’s humor, attentiveness, and patience make her such a valuable teacher. I've taken many crafting classes and have never "felt" so accomplished after such a short amount of time. It's a relaxing process and the outcome is hugely rewarding and Jocelyn stays with you every step of the way.”
~ Emily Warden
“Jocelyn is fantastic at explaining (and showing) how to approach each part of the process of felting. She has incredible patience and will work with each student to make sure that each finished critter is good. I now can say I felted snails, succulents, and a penguin. I am hooked!”
~ Deb Liczwek
"Jocelyn teaches a craft class like no other. Not only did I learn how to do felting successfully through an online environment, but I met a group of people who bring absolute joy into my life. Take this class if you want to learn a new activity, or just have a wonderful afternoon."
~ Chelsea Mcdonald
“Jocelyn’s teaching methods make even more intimidating projects seem approachable, and I always leave with a cute new craft. She has also managed to build a crafting community within her classes so I feel I’ve gained some new friends in addition to felting skills. Highly recommend!”
~ Grace Cason
“Jocelyn's classes are a true delight! I had tried needle felting years ago and didn't really take to it, but after taking Jocelyn's classes virtually, I fell in love with the craft. Her designs are beautiful, her directions are clear, and it is a lot of fun to learn alongside fellow students. I've also appreciated Jocelyn's kindness in providing guidance beyond the class time. I have sent her questions and shared updates on my own projects and have really appreciated her encouraging responses!”
