Edwin
Edwin has a dream of being the first ram to hike the Appalachian Trail in its entirety in one season. So far, he hasn’t made it past the edge of the forest in his neighborhood, because he keeps eating all of his GORP and having to go back home to make more.
Ceramic plaque measures 7.5 X 4.5 inches.
Each piece begins and ends in my Kingston, NY studio. I dye the wool, sculpt each animal through needle felting, hand-sew their tiny wardrobes, craft their plaques, and even conduct exit interviews to capture their personalities (yes, really). Every step is done with care - a true labor of love from beginning to end.
For those with curious minds, needle felting is a process in which barbed needles are used to sculpt wool fiber into various forms.
Edwin is intended for use as a wall hanging and is not a toy. Please keep out of reach of children.
